Article 1: Use of personal data
In this chapter we describe which personal data Secretbody processes from customers, for which purposes Secretbody processes this data and on the basis of which legal grounds Secretbody processes this data.
When you place an order on the site, Secretbody processes the following data from you: name and address details, email address, payment details and order details. Secretbody uses this data to process your order and manage your account. Secretbody also processes your IP address to combat possible fraud when placing orders, for example in the event of unauthorized use of your account by third parties. In addition, Secretbody will, if you have given your permission, use your data to send you newsletters by email with information and offers of Secretbody products. Do you no longer wish to receive a newsletter from Secretbody? Then you can easily unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of the newsletter. Article 2: Basis for processing data
The most important legal basis for Secretbody to process your data is that it is necessary to comply with an agreement concluded between you and Secretbody. Sometimes the processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations, such as the obligation to keep financial records and to comply with tax legislation. Finally, in certain cases the processing of data is based on your consent, for example in the case of the use of your data for newsletters. Secretbody also has a legitimate interest in improving its products and services based on purchasing behavior and customer preferences.
Article 3: Use of personal data by third parties
Secretbody does not share your personal data with third parties, except:
- If you have given permission for this
- If Secretbody is legally obliged to do so
- For the execution of your order, for example to payment providers or parties that deliver your order

Article 4: Transfer of business
Secretbody may transfer its business/services to a third party. In that case, your personal data will also be passed on to the party in question. We will inform you about this in advance. If you do not wish to continue using our services afterwards, you can request us to delete your data.
Article 5: Retention periods
Personal data will not be stored for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or processed. Data required to process your order will be stored for up to 2 years after placing the order. Financial data will be stored for up to 7 years after the financial obligation has arisen in order to comply with our accounting obligations and tax legislation. Data required for sending personalized newsletters will be stored for as long as you are registered and one year thereafter. Data on fraud may be stored for as long as is necessary to handle the incident and to comply with the rules of the Fraud Prevention Foundation for Retail Trade.
Article 6: Rights
You have the right to access your stored data and you have the right to request that this data be corrected, restricted, blocked or deleted. You also have the right to request a machine-readable subset of your data in order to store it elsewhere.
You can withdraw your consent for the use of your personal data for specific purposes at any time. You also have the right to object to the use of your data for direct marketing purposes at any time and you can also withdraw your consent for the use of your personal data for newsletters at any time.
Article 7: Klarna
In order to be able to offer you Klarna's payment options, we will pass certain aspects of your personal data, such as contact and order details, to Klarna so that Klarna can assess your eligibility for their payment options and offer you the available payment options.
